Dallas and the Metroplex

Dallas is a city full of possibilities where everyone may find a bit of themselves. We’ve collected a list of things to do in Dallas, Texas’s crown jewel.

Bishop Arts District

Several cafés, restaurants, theaters, and bars may be found in the Bishop Arts District, one of Texas’ major art hubs. On weekends, most stores are open late. Art aficionados and Instagram devotees are drawn to the neighborhood because of the colorful murals and stores. The Bishop Arts District also holds a lot of events.

Trinity River Audubon Center

The Trinity River Audubon Center is your starting point for exploring the beautiful features of the Greater Trinity Forest, located approximately 10 miles south of downtown Dallas. The nation’s largest urban hardwood forest, it consists of a unique mix of lowland hardwoods, swamps, and grasslands and is home to a wide variety of plant and animal species.

The Trinity River Audubon Center has been welcoming visitors to its sanctuaries and inviting them to participate in wildlife education programs ever since it was founded in 2008. Along the Central Flyway is one of the best environmental education facilities run by the National Audubon Society. This innovative approach, which calls for preserving open space both to protect wildlife and their habitat from people and to actively involve people in doing so through education and exploration, has influenced the development of placemaking and served as a model for Audubon and other nature education centers across the country. Its foundation is experiential learning, a very effective teaching technique.

Texas Sculpture Garden

Since Craig Hall has devoted his whole life to collecting art, aesthetics and design play a big role in both his personal and professional lives. So much so that an emphasis on art served as the conceptual foundation for the HALL Park development in Frisco’s design and master plan. Due of his enthusiasm, Hall decided to dedicate the first four acres of the park’s entrance to the display of a sizable number of works by Texas-based contemporary sculptors.

In order to give these important works of art the correct context, expert contractors and artisans were employed to create dedicated spaces and plinths where each object would be clearly displayed. Great effort was taken to create beautiful surroundings, including lakes, fountains, lush greenery, monuments, and relaxing areas, in order to enhance the experience.

Lake Ray Hubbard

In the city of Rowlett, there is a charming small park called Lakeside Park. There are several everyday activities available in this park. A fantastic volleyball court, several picnic tables, a walking path around the lake, and paddle boat rentals are all there.

If you want a peaceful park with lots of facilities that isn’t as congested as some of the other parks near to Lake Ray Hubbard, this is a fantastic option. The park offers breathtaking views of the lake and is immaculately kept. The park is surrounded by a sizable walking route. This park is wonderful for dog walks and picnics in the afternoon or throughout the day.
